On June 8th 2007 I requested a FREE DVD/CD from auction monster. They were advertising a FREE DVD/CD on how to make money on the internet using EBAY. The only cost that I had to incur was the $1.87 shipping fee. I gave my bank card information to secure the $1.87 payment. On June 18th 2007 I pulled up my bank history online and saw a charge on my account for $59.95 from Dr. Reg.Net and I immediately pulled up the link that was included on this pending charge. (I say pending charge because the charge has not gone through completely as it was just put on my account on June 18th 2007.) The link I was directed to was this site.

I saw other stories about this company charging peoples accounts fraudulently in the same manner that mine was. I immediately called my bank and the 1-800 # noted on previous complaints for Dr Reg. I did get in touch with a customer service person whom immediately said that he would be crediting my account for the $59.95. I requested a confirmation number for the credit of $59.95 to my bank account.

I also made an attempt to ask why they are charging peoples accounts fraudulently. The customer service rep said that I was told that this fee would be charged to my account in the event that I did not cancel within 10 days. Let me just say that this is not so!!! I was never told about a membership or the need to cancel one within 10 days or be charged $59.95. This is an outright lie!!! Be carefull and do not take no for an answer for your money back that they will owe you.

I was even telephoned by this company before the 18th of June asking all about my credit history and how much available credit I have etc....At that time I thankfully had the sense to stop answering questions about my personal credit history because I thought that this might be fraudulent. I even told the person on the phone that I thought this was a scam and I hung up the phone. Do not discuss your personal credit history with anyone you do not know!!!It turns out I was right, this is definately a scam......BE CAREFULL!
