Complaint Review: Dr Seth Neubardt

I had undergone a pervious neck surgery that has failed to improve my condtion at a orthopedic surgery center located in New Jersey, I Had found Dr Seth Neubardt on various internet searches and his website was nothing short of impresive and his reviees were outstanding to say the least. Still in extreme pain, The original Doctor who did the procedure had wanted to do a second surgery,  So I had contacted Safespinesurgery.com As They made it clear on the website that they are the second opinion specialists, I wanted to get Dr Neubardt's take on getting another surgery and see what my options were going foward. I contacted his office manager and  made the appointment  Upon arival I gave her my discs and medical reports for the Dr to review and paid the $500 fee for his services. A few minutes later she came back out and informed me that Dr Neubardt would not see me, Becuase i had previous surgery with another medical practice. I explained to BarberaThat I had come from Brooklyn NY and drove almost 2 hours to see him. She handed back my reports and Money and gave me the look of please  leave now.

I called her back the next day to complain about what had happened, Her response was are you going to call me everyday to complain? ( On my first call since I was there the day before )  I said not at all, I just replied thats not the way you treat people  who are  in need of medical care. I responded by saying the Dr could have sat down with me for 10 minutes and went over my reports and studies with me. She replied shoud have, would have, could have.  Thats the answer Barbera gave me. She went on to say try us back in a few months, Maybe he will see you at a later time. At this point I still wanting to meet with this Doctor despite the original setback with the office Manager, I set up another appointment  to meet with him. He was polite at first, And looked over my studies, However he could not give me a clear diagnosis if the surgical level that needed attention was c-1 c-2 or c-4 -c-5.  Nor did he want to do any further studies to narrow down my issue. He told me let me know how you make out as he got up to leave the office and walked out.  I came to this practice hoping to find some answers to my injury and left the same was as I came in, Still unclear of what to do next to help my situation. I took a long time to write this review, However at the end of the day I feel the Dr was nothing short of dismissive in his response about my condition ,And the way his office manager handled the situation on the first visit was probably just the type of person she is and could care less how she talks to patients if you had a previous surgical procedure, That was done somwhere else, And expect help from this practice, Good Luck.
