Complaint Review:
drdsupply.com
www.prdsupply.com, www.drdsupply.com and www.iphoneship.com are three almost identical websites that claim to offer insider access to wholesale pricing on electronics and iphones for a membership of about $18.
Instead of a real membership buyers get a short list of other websites to make purchases from, like alibaba.com. In other words information that is freely available elsewhere. Emails are not replied to and Paypal will not issue refunds.
The sites use fake testimonials and try to look credible by using logos that imply trust. They use the authorize.net logo used without permission. It does not have a link back to that site. They are also not listed on wholesalereview.com.
People have reported responding to Craigslist ads to buy merchandise and being told that the items are sold out, but that they can get more by joining one of the above websites and buy direct. The whole scenario is just a ruse to get people to pay the memberships.
What's strange is that the sites are owned and run on the servers of Richard Hamill the owner and company director of RH Source Ltd., who was someone with a reputation in the internet technology world. RH Source is at www.rhsource.com
From his bio on www.richardhamill.com:
Richard Hamill is a highly talented internet entrepreneur from Northern Ireland. He has lived and worked in England and America over the past few years providing a vast array of computer services to thousands of clients from all over the world. Some of his greatest achievements include owning two companies, working with celebrities & Fortune 500 companies and last but not least the US Secret Service. Mr. Hamill provides high-end solutions and has significant experience with managing large teams, handling mission-critical data and providing always-on; internet connectivity products. He has over 4 years experience with Level 3 Linux Server Administration and cPanel. Additionally he has operated large scale shipping operations on eBay (PowerSeller with 1500+ positive feedback) & Amazon. He has provided affiliate services to several marketing companies ensuring large profits for both parties.
Why would someone like this bother with such a low-level scam, and attach his name to it? And not only is name on it, the Paypal payments for two of the sites go directly into the RH Source Ltd. account.
Email to rhsource.com goes unanswered, leaving me to believe that he gone rogue or gone underground. Whatever the case no-one should waste their money on these bogus websites.
