Samir Salama agreed to sell me a puppy for $3,000.  I paid what he requested as a deposit.  Later he asked for a further deposit to assist with his whelping expenses.  Again, it was a deposit towards my purchase price of $3,000.  He then attempted to categorize the puppies by price and essentially offer them first come first serve to prosective purchasers. I again reminded him that we had a deal.  He then tried to tack on various litter expenses and other expenses.

Just before I was to pick up the puppy (I believe a matter of days) and after I had arraaanged transport he emailed me a contract which changed everything.  He falsely claimed that the puppy was discounted from $10,000, and demanded additional money.  He claimed veterinary expenses which were never documented, and hich would usually be part of the purchase price.  He charged for ear cropping which I believe he did himself, and baer testing which I believe he did himself.

I agreed to pay additional money because I was already attached to the puppy through pictures and years of expectation, as were my children.  I did make an additional payment though I that was not right, and then was late with one.  He immediately declared $10,000 due and owing.  He never inquired into the well being of the puppy and was obviously motivated by money.

I refused to pay further after he claimed I owed him far more than any reasonable person would value the puppy, and he failed to register the puppy.  Some of the details may be effected by memory but I have a significant email trail which demonstrates this is not a scrupulous man or BUSINESS.  My puppy developed an ear infection from the cropping I believe he did, and the transporters brought her to the vet in Minnesota where she spent the night.  That is how she was produced to them.  Her infection lingered when I received her.  Beware!  Get everything in writing!  Ask for the contract before you send a deposit or committ.
