THIS MATTRESS STORE ADVERTISED A LAYAWAY PAYMENT TO PURCHASE A MATTRESS. I WENT IN PICKED A MATTRESS GAVE MY $50.00 DEPOSIT AND WAS TOLD I CAN MAKE PAYMENTS UNTIL I PAY FOR IT THE COST OF THE MATTRESS TOTAL $804.54.
WHEN I REALIZED IT WOULD TAKE ME A LONG TIME TO PAY AND RECEIVE THE MATTRESS I WENT IN 2 WKS LATER TO CANCEL AND GET MY $50 BACK. THEY TELL ME YOU CAN NOT GET A REFUND YOU CAN BUY SOMETHING ELSE IN THE STORE. I SAID OK WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR $50 AND THEY TELL ME MATTRESS FRAME AND I SAID WHAT WOULD I WANT WITH A MATTRESS FRAME I DON'T HAVE A MATTRESS.
I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH THE OWNER AND HE REFUSES TO SPEAK WITH ME.
I WANT MY $50.00 HOW MANY OTHER $50 DID THEY TAKE AND NEVER RETURN IT. MUST BE NICE TO MAKE MONEY AND NEVER COSTING THEM A DIME. STEALING FROM INDIVIDUALS MUST STOP PLEASE GET ME MY MONEY BACK.

I have been to several stores that do not return downpayments put on layaways and such. Before you get too upset with them, pull out your original paperwork and go over it with a fine-tooth comb. There is most likely something in there about not getting money back from a layaway.
If you did take the bed frame, it could have easily been sold on eBay or something like that. If there is something in your paperwork stating that downpayments are not refunded, take the frame and sell it. You'll at least have your money back.
