Drive Financial Services, First City Funding Threating & uncooperative Dallas Texas
I have been with drive for alittle over 2 years. I have always been on time with my payments, and when I lost my job in September of 2002, I am still struggling now that I started my new job since 2003. When I talked to Drive to take partial payment, they said they would deny my money. They also told me like they have told others that I can ride the bus to and from work. Someone really needs to do something about this because this is really out of hand.
When I talked to the so called Supervisor Tonya T. at Drive, she would not hear my situation and was not understanding at all and very rude. I ask to speak to someone above her and she blew up and really did not want to give me the name or ext.. Finally, she gave me only the name and said she does not know the extention and would not look for it and then she hung up on me...

I too am a customer of Drive Financial. Since 2002 I've also had nothing but problems with this company. Harrasing calls, Repossesion threats and deception. Harrasing calls-calling me at my job 3 or 4 times a week looking for payment knowing I could loose my job due to the tremendous number of phone calls and not caring. Repossesion-threatend to come to my place of employment and take the car. Deception-not accurately reporting my balance and payment history to the credit bureau.
They sent a letter telling me my balance was 8,500 dollars back in July of 2003 and now on my credit report of 6/2004 they say my balance is $8068.00 mind you my monthly payments are 278.00 and I'm only behind 2 months.....You do the math :0 ) This is ridiculous.
My fiance's mother just got financed with this deceptive company after I warned her to not let a finance company called Drive Financial finance her car. But of course this happened without her knowledge of who the finance company was that was financing the car.
NOW THIS IS A WARNING TO EVERYONE PLEASE DO NOT ENTER A LOAN CONTRACT WITH DRIVE!!!!!!!!
