I wish to be a party to any consumer class action suit against this company because this company violates the law constantly and lies constantly when you call and are very rude and unprofessional.

I purchased a new Chevrolet truck from Smithfield Chevrolet August 06. Because of bad credit from the past I was charged an outrageous interest rate, but I really needed truck for work. I should not have done this but I did and I have no one to blame but myself. I didn't have truck a week before they started calling me about the payments. at that time I was not even late yet. They called me at work even after I asked them not to. They called after my employer asked them not to. They would call me at home at all hours of the day and night.

I had my phone number changed several times because of this to unlisted numbers and somehow they still would get the new number. I finally had phone shut off. Then they started calling my neighbors asking them to have me call.

I had truck for 6 months and then was involved in a major accident not my fault. It took the other partys insurance company a while to decide whether to repair or replace truck, so I called Drive and informed them of accident. They told me not to send anymore payments until It was decided what they are going to do. Then another person that same day called about the payment that was due then. I told them what they other rep told me and they yelled at me and denied the company would have told me that. The truck was finally repaired but it took 2 months for it to be repaired, but it now was Worth 10,000 because of the damage history. I owed 16,500 at that time. Everytime I called I owed more even though I was making payment on time up till then, Last letter I got I owed over 18,000. on truck at that rate I would have paid my 66 payments and still owe them a lot of money.

I called them and offered to give them the check I recieved from the other partys insurance for the diminished value of the truck and tried to get them to refinance the truck for a lower monthly payment if I applied the funds on this truck, but they would not accept the check or refinance it.

Long story short because they lied and harrassed me constantly I decided to give the truck back because I could not afford the truck any longer because of my diminished ability to work because of the accident.
I am waiting for a letter from them telling me they sold it for 2000.00 at auction and they are gfoing to sue me or put a lien on my house. I have a surprise for them when I get that letter.

Well, well, well, Drive financial services sold so they say or transferred my debt to another company named Palisades Collection,LLc which they probably own. I am surprised that they sold the truck for as much as they did, about 9200.00 well anyway a message to whomever bought this debt, if you were that dumb, sue me because you are not getting a dime of the $8060.48 you say I owe you as I filed a bankruptcy last week. good luck! PS Drive Financial services I hope you told whom ever you sold this vehicle to about the major accident it was involved in. It should have been totaled, but anyway.
