I purchased a 2002 Dodge Durango in November 11, of 2004 from Bayside Chevy in Bayside Queens, NY. I was told that my payments would be $560.40 monthly for the next 3 years. I naturally assumed I would make my last payment in November of 2007 along with any interst and lagging payments totaling my final payment.

I was horrified and defeated to find that my new projected final payment would be on January 10, 2010, bringing a anticipated 3 year loan to 5.2 years. When I called to complain I was told it was because I payed late a few times. This is true, however I'm sure i wasnt 2.2 years late ,or the vehicle would no longer be in my possession.

To make a long story short I purchased a vehicle before on a 4 year term and at the end of the four years, I was given a final payment due. I dont think ignorance of a customer is a reason to be cheated. I've have become depressed because this payment will be haunting me another 2+years which means I'm paying almost triple the original purchase price. I'm afraid to ever buy anything financed again. I'm the little guy poor and powerless..Suicidal
