Complaint Review: Drive For Cash

I was interested in using a company that connected people with advertisers to put decals on cars.  Basically you allow them to use your car as a moving billboard.  The name of the company listed on Job Alerts website was Mrkt Pop (all caps).  When I clicked on the link it took me to another company named Get Paid To Drive (try.getpaidtodrive.co/zip-1jt/zip_code) where they ask if your vehicle is newer than 2009.  They then start asking where you are and what you drive.  Then they prompt you to set up and "account" where they get your personal information.  A statement appears saying that to verify your account you need to click on the link on the email they sent.  So far pretty innocuous.

But the email they sent was for an auto insurance quote site called Advertise On My Car - Cheap Auto Insurance Coverage with an email address of hellp@advertiseonmycar.net.  Bingo, note the misspelling of "help".  I clicked on the link anyway thinking that I could bypass the ad for insurance.  Nope.  They ask for all of your personal infomation with no mention of a link back to Get Paid To Drive.

If you see this site or any of the ones I have listed do not proceed.  They are scamming for personal information.  They go by several names:  Mrkt Pop, Get Paid To Drive, Cheap Auto Insurance Coverage, Advertise On My Car.  Cheap Auto Insurance supposedly has a mailing address of PO Box 425768, Cambridge MA.  No phone number listed.  Get Paid To Drive has a mailing address of 443 N University Ave, Provo UT 84601.  No phone number listed.
