We are very familiar with Drive, we have been a cusomter since it was First City Funding. When Drive took over and started calling us 2 days after our payment was due, i knew then this company was evil. They have lied to me, threatened me, called me a loser, questioned me on how i pay my bills, you name it.

I have never in my life ever dealt with a company that is so rude. They call 5-6 times a day, call my cell phone, work, and family and friends, and then they discuss my finances with them. I swear this is illegal, disclosing 3rd party information.. I called the manager about it, i get a "well we spoke to that employee" yeah right, they turn around and did it again.

I have to admit, we were late on our payment a few times, with layoffs, ill children, etc. but we always make our payment, someone needs to do something about this company, i can't believe they are able to operate a business this way..

As a former employee, I saw countless violations of FDCPA by representatives. My best suggestion is save all the voicemales left that disclose third party info(such as use of the word ACCOUNT,(this implies that a debt is present and is a violation)and especially calls to the job when told not to call anymore.(all a consumer has to do is inform them to not call 1 time and any subsequent calls are treated as a violation) If u have been violated go to

and review the law. Remember that most state collections override the federal law but this covers most areas.
