I was having trouble with my 2001 Dakota and took it to them. They replaced two different sensors, twice and finally decided it was the computer that was the problem.

Had the computer replaced, and had to take it back to them and pay for a rental car for the week I was going to be out of town, for them to re-program the computer...since they didn't program it correctly the first time.

Shortly after, I started getting a "Service 4WD" light. I took it back to them, but the light went out before they got it in a bay. I was told to bring it back when it comes on and stays on.

After over a month of the "Service 4WD" light being on, I took it back. They said the transfer case control module needed to be replaced...they would have one the next day. I took my truck so I could work the next day and took my truck back to them after I got off work so it would be there first thing the next day.

After a day of them having my truck, they called around 5:45 PM and told me the part (that was supposed to be there the day before) was tested before sending it to them and found to be faulty. I picked my truck up for the weekend.

I took it back to them the following Monday...since the new part was supposed to be there from San Antonio on Friday. After having my truck all day Monday (dropped off and back home by 9 AM), I got a call at 7:40 PM (they close at 7 PM), stating that they were sent the wrong part...something I listened to them tell another woman that morning when I took my truck in.

The following Tuesday, I called and asked for a ride from my house so I could pick my truck up. An hour and a half later, I rode my bike to the shop to pick up my truck, since nobody had come to pick me up.

I asked them to cancel the order and I'd have another, trustworthy shop do the work, but they said it was already ordered, so they couldn't (or wouldn't) cancel it.

The following week I was busy and needed my truck, so they had to wait for me to bring the truck back. It was scheduled to bring it in on Tuesday (today) to have the work done. I received a call at 7:20 AM saying the person that was going to program the computer was on his way and they needed the truck right then. I got up, fed my dogs and took care of some things that I needed to do and had my truck there less than an hour from the first call asking for my truck.

When I got there, I was told the guy had left, but would be back later. I packed up my stuff and started walking home. I went back and told Eric that I wanted the old part off my truck, and he said "OK." I picked up my stuff and left. Eric asked if I wanted a ride home and I told him "no, all y'all can kiss my @$$", and proceeded to walk home.

While waiting for Eric to tell him I wanted the old part, I told another person behind the counter that I didn't understand how they were going to program the computer for a part that wasn't even installed yet, and he just shrugged his shoulders.

They say this problem has nothing to do with the other work they did on the truck, but the computer wasn't done correctly the first time, and there has been a recall on it to recalibrate it for the transfer case control module in the past. So if they don't have that update, then it isn't the part that's bad, it's the programing of the computer...which is their mistake, not mine.

The husband called after 6 PM, when we still hadn't heard from them, and around 7:40 PM, they brought the truck to the house, with a part. Stuff on the dash was actually moved this time and a screw was left on the floorboard, so I know they at least did something with the dash this time.

I'm still not convinced that the programing of the computer wasn't the problem, but I have my truck back and will never deal with them again.

If you want the work done in a timely manner, do not go to this place.
