I am also a victim of drivetime.

I purchased a ford windstar on 10/03. The problems started on 2/27/04 one month after the extended warranty was up. On 2/27/04 I had to take the car in for a new alternator $211.04. On 8/27/04 replace transmission $1445.00 which they only contributed $245.00 and an one payment differment. 9/15/04 r/r manifold and front/rear brakes $443.12. 11/26/04 replace up/don stream o2 sensor $148.98,5/06/05 tow replace coolant, intake manifold, repair wiring ans starter $340.24. 3/11/06 intake manifold, power stearing pump and co2 sensor for the second time $540.00.

They have also recomended a new transmission. Wait a minute didn't we just do that a year ago? The car had 81,500 miles on it when purchased now it has 99,300 aprox. low mileage for having it for 3 almost 3 years. On top of it all I got my car back with a huge dent with yellow paint along the passengers side and I have to wait until monday when the mechanic comes back.

Please help. Is there a class act lawsuit against this company?? I have three children and they assured me that this car would be dependable long after the payments were up and just to reassure me they offer this 3 month extended warranty. What a joke!!

well, i went back to the dealership to make a payment and decided to remind them that i had not heard anything back from corporate drivetime as of yet. i continued to go over my whole story again to now the sales manager and salesman for i think the third or fourth time and also showing them the wonderful dent and yellow paint on the side of my car! which by the way has not been adressed the mechanic doesn't know where it came from all they could say was " well, the car has been here for a long time.." so long story short the are emailing corporate again and will get back to me they are going "pro-active" on this and wil try to do something for me maybe an early trade in. yeah..yeah..yeah...wheres that class action lawsuit?? lets get the ball rolling guys.
