I bought a 2006 Audi A4 from this company. I was told about the warranty but was not given a chance to read it completely as they rushed me through the paperwork at time of purchase. 2 weeks into owning this vehicle, the passenger window regulator failed and the window quit working. I called aeverex, the warranty company, and was told it was not covered. 3 weeks later i was in Atlanta, about 2 hours from home, and the transmission in the car went out. I called aeverex like my warranty card instructed me and they were closed. I was left 200 miles from home stranded with no help. I called a wrecker and got the car home.

I called aeverex the next day and they informed me that they would only pay 75 dollars of the tow bill. It costs atleast 125 dollars for a local tow in this area. I then informed them what shop the car was taken to. They told me to tell the shop to call them... Great cusomer service. The shop called them and advised them that the only transmission available for this particular Audi was through the dealer, no one offered a remanufactured transmission and Audi advised against it because of a history of problems. Aeverx told them no, and that they would send the shop a used transmission.

The shop advised Aeverx that Audi had specifically advised against this and they said they didn't care. I called Aeverex and Drivetime and told them that I thought it was unreasonable to put a junkyard transmission in a car I had bought with low mileage less than 2 months after I bought it. They told me I had no say in the matter.  They could not tell me how many miles were on the used transmission or even where they got it. I was told when I bought the car that I would be given a rental car if I ever had to have warranty work done. I have been without my car a month now, and no rental car.

I have called 3 times and asked and they just say that they will get back with me, but they never do. I have made every payment on time, done everything I agreed to do when I bought the car. I have no transportation and I owe a 300 dollar tow bill and they are gonna make me pay a 150 dollar deductible, and I only owned the car 5 weeks when it died. I have made numerous calls to both Aeverex and drivetime and they just really don't care. I called an attorney and they told me I would have to go through arbitration and it would probably cost me a couple thousand dollars to hire an arbitrator. This has literally turned into a nightmare. BEWARE... Stay away from these crooks.
