DRS Transfer And Storage Liars, Rip-off, Rude, and unethical Hanover, Maryland
I contracted to have DRS Transfer and Storage move a small one bedroom apartment, 25 miles for an estimated cost of $280. The day started out disasterous as they arrived 2.5 hrs late, and consistently called me for directions saying "mapquest" did not work. The movers showed up uniformed in a truck with an old logo painted over. Before starting they asked if I was moving the whole apartment, and I answered yes and they promptly began going to work with no further questions.
Upon arriving at the final destination I was handed a bill for over $630, which included a fuel charge NOT included in the estimate, and over $240 worth of packing materials, which I did not request, nor was I shown pricing for the material. I contacted the owner (jay) and salesman (Guy Ailman), both were rude and very unprofessional. In order, to receive my property I was to pay the $630+ in cash only, although I offered various types of checks and credit cards, which are legal types of payment per their terms.
The policies outlined in the estimate and website were not followed, as any discrepency is suppose to be negotiated amiabley, especially if the total price exceeds 110% of estimate. I called the Alexandria, VA and they were helpful in getting the payment put on my credit card so I have something to fight with.
This operation is shady, thievery, and fraud fronted by a moving company. I will pursue this through the BBB, IRS, District Attorney, and other possible means.
Do not use DRS moving and storage, and please contact me with any helpful information.

Jay decided to call my personal cell phone and harrass myself over the problems with the move. I disputed the difference in the amount quoted and amount asked to pay, cash only, upon arrival. He said that if I "F" with his money, he will "F" with my face and life. Obviously, he knows where I live, but also described my car, and said he knows where my parents live out of state, which was eerily weird. There are so many things wrong with the way this business is run and acts. Everything will catch up with them in the end, and I hope it is soon.

MC# 559967, a YLS Logistic Center DBA, [has been] operating without authority for some time. They do not have an active broker license and have been doing business since the license was revoked...
Customers have been contacted by Guy Aliam under the assumption that they will be moving with DRS Transport and Storage, who's Legal name is L.H. Telemarketing Solutions, and DRS does not inform clients that it is a Broker. Their are tons of complaints out about their operations/business practices:
