Visiontel is a company that sells a product over the phone and says that it is customer satisfaction or your money back. I used the product for 2 1/2 weeks and decided it was not satisfied. I called to find out how to return it and they told me to mail the remaining unused portion along with the order form. I did what I was told in a timely manner( 3 weeks after I received the product).

When my next statement came in I did not have a refund but instead they charged me $96.00. When I called about the charge they said that I was given a trial for something that I never ordered or received and that I was suppose to call within 30 days if I did not want it. I told them I had to idea what they were talking about and that I ordered a product and did not like it and requested a refund. They said I would have to call another company about the refund and they were selling something else(which I still did not know what they were talking about).

After long conversations and much frustation I finally got them to credit the $96.00 for the thing I never ordered or received. I then had to call another company to dispute my refund. They said they never received a request form and that since it was now over the 30 day rule of satisfaction that there was nothing I could do.

I spoke with a supervisor and she was of no help. I have since written a letter to the President, which he might not even receive because they would not give me any information, but made me send it to the same address of customer service. This company is a huge disappointment and a disgrace.

I actually work for said company and there are just a few comments I would like to make. First, I am not an owner therefore, these statements do not come from the company, just an individual. I came to this website just out of curiosity. I looke up my place of employment and found 4 "complaints". Actually 2 separate complaints from 2 separate people. T

he emails re: Slimstore.com are nothing an everyday consumer would have to be concerned about. Possibly a wholesaler, but not an individual.

The other 2 emails are obviously (states things that only employees would know) just an ex-employee who has a chip on his/her shoulder.
I can state for a fact that although the "Risk-Free Trial" offered can be misunderstood (The same phrase George Foreman uses for his grills on national TV), the total price is always given at the end of every call. Buyers, if you give your credit card info over the phone, you are making a purchase, if it was free, then we would not ask for method of payment.

Secondly, having a close relationship with many employees (current ones) there, I can also state that the return policy (30 days money back guarantee) is very strict (must be 30 days, NO later) but a customer calling to return within there guarantee is NEVER denied full refund (less s+h) when requested. Sometimes herbal products can take different amounts of time to work on different people so they do try to have the customer take it longer if needed, or increase the dosage if needed, but by going past the 30 days, will offer partial money back to customers, ONLY IF THE CUSTOMER DECIDES TO. Otherwise, a refund is given in full (less s+h).
If you want our products, they do work, but not for all, therefore we do offer the money back guarantee.

There is no free sample, but instead you get to buy a whole 30 day supply or more, with the understanding that if it doesnt work, you return it and dont pay for it. Use your credit cards for what they were designed for!!! Yes, the refund is less S+H and S+H is mostly $19.95 but chances are, you wont need to return it anyway, and if you do...well, go to Walmart, buy $140 worth of vitamins, take them all and bring them the empty bottles and see how much they would give you back. ZERO. It is definitely worth it, it saved my marriage.

I still have a charged $96.00 on my bank card, I never received any merchandise or know what was ordered. There were 5 charges drafted from my account with a balance still not paid. I rebutted this transaction with my bank and have been charged for this as well as an overdrawn draft from my banking institution. If there is anyone out there who can assist me with this matter please call at 901 218-7912. I have a copy of the bill transaction and what operator handled the sale by their ID number, date, time and station of input. I also have the order number as well. It was shipped to an old address that I have not lived at in 3 years. We are still investigating this matter through my lawyer, and company that shipped the product. The total bill was $387.95, someone, anyone with information please help me.

I believe the response from this organization speaks for itself in terms of how it views it's customers.

I believe the response from this organization speaks for itself in terms of how it views it's customers. It is inappropriate and unprofessional to call a customer "Stupid".

I too was a victim of Visiontel Communications.
1) They imply in their advert. that the trial is free. It is not free because if you're not satisfied with the product and return it, you have to absorb the shipping and handling which is $19.95 plus the cost of the return.

2) They fail to quote the shipping and then tell you that you have a full refund, so you assume that it's the price of $79.95 which they quoted. Of course it is not.

To the lady that tried impulse...you probably don't even remember the conversation so you don't remember saying yes to the extra add-ons...Or should I say free gifts for 30 days (which you would have to cancel). Everything is scripted you are just a stupid buyer that wasn't paying attention. These sales reps are good...you just didn't listen... at the end of the conversation
... probably the only thing coming out of your mouth was okay, okay, and okay. Which this was the time they were asking you if you wanted all this extra stuff. So don't blame them for your mistake. Next time you should pay a little more attention to what they are saying and then you won't get billed for something you didn't want (even though you said yes to them).
