DS Waters Of America Failed to Deliver, Charged for service not given without billing for 12 months, now demand money from me. Ripoff Pasadena California
In April of 2005 I signed a contract for a water dispenser and monthly water deliveries. I made timely monthly payments on deliveries made for five months.
In October of '05 I was given a job that would require me to relocate from Turlock, Calif. to SAn Andreas, Calif.(approx. 60 miles) on Dec. 1st. Since San Andreas is a very small town located in a secluded area of the foothills I called DS WATERS concerned about them continuing my delivery service. They assured me they would. I made arrangements with them on Nov. 7th(with Betty, then Jeffrey at 2:40 P.M.) to pick up my empty bottles before I moved so I wouldn't have to move them with me.This was to happen on Nov. 16th. They never showed. I took the bottles with me.
After moving on the 1st of Dec. I called on Dec. 12th and talked to Eric at 11:40 A.M.I asked if I could cancel my service. They said I could by buying out my contract for $90.00. This was unexceptable to me. So I agreed to continue service. Eric said they would deliver to me on Dec.21st, contnuing my service at my new address. They never showed. I called and made an appointment for delivery on Jan.23, 2006. They never showed.
I never received a call or a bill from them until Oct. of this year. This communication was a phone call from a collection agency. They demanded a payment for 12 back months for services I never received.
I called the company, the automated answering machine asked for my telephone number( same# on my cntract) which I gave-the response was "no record of services",so I asked to speak to the manager, he said his name was Bob. This was on Oct. 25th, at 11:10 A. M.Bob demanded that I pay for back services and continue with the orginal agreement. I agreed if he would resume my service and call off the collection agency. He agreed and made arrangements with me to pickup a check and empty bottles on Monday Oct. 30th.I waited all day, they never showed up. I am getting 1-3 phone calls a day from the collection agency.
