dss Sandy woods receiving threatening phone call schoharie New York
over the last few years my wife and i have been under the thumb of dss. we have been following our court orders and yet they stil want to take our children and put my wife in jail. the latest incendent is a threatening phone call from sandy woods a supervising case worker of dss of schoharie county new york. my wife answered the phone and sandy told her that since my wife contacted the inspector genreal of new york state the now sandy woods is going to make our lives hell and is going to make sure that our kids are going to be taken and that we are going to jail. please if you read this and if you have any infomation or any ideas on how to help us please contact us asap thank you.

My daughter is undergoing the same trouble with the same individual, except she comes to her house and does it in person. I have been reading some of the more current reports, and this is just plain unbelievable. How does a local agency manage to get away with such antics?
Anyway, I hope you reported the incident to the Sheriff's office. They should start a file. If reported immediately, there are ways to verify the source of the call for the records, even though that particular caller has Time Warner's service.
Do not hesitate, there are people in the Sheriff's office who will at least file your complaint. Phone harrassment is illegal, not to mention incredibly unprofessional. If you get no results with the Sheriff's office, call the State Police, file a report. Keep track of the time and date of all phone calls like that. Take notes of the exact words used during the call...
Get a recording device. Do something so you can fight back/ protect yourself.
I personally have had enough. It's been 2 years and we are still spending big money on legal fees and absolutley NO progress has been made. I see reports here of doctored statements and can read the same in my daughters own folder.
So, I am making plans to see an attorney that I understand will help. I will start posting results.
In the meantime, protect yourself, nobody else is going to... not even your attorney.
