My wife saved for a few months to purchase me a shoulder holster for my birthday. She doesn't know anything about holsters and spoke with several of our law enforcement friends about brands and such.

She found a holster on dt distributors' website, and ordered it. Our card was charged within 24 hours of the order being placed, but it never came. Calls and e-mails for weeks went unanswered. She told me about it, and was in tears her money was stolen and the birthday gift was not coming.

I, too sent e-mails using dt's customer service page on their website. No response. I pulled up the e-mail order confirmation dt sent (via aol) and replied to it. It was returned "no such screen name".

I started researching and found my wife was one of several dozen victims over the last two years. I contacted the Texas State Attorney General, the Federal Trade Commission, the Idaho State Attorney General, the Bonham Police Department, my local Prosecutor's Office, and the Texas Better Business Bureau.

I cancelled my card so they couldn't double charge me....you should do that too, immediately. Your bank will, if you file the affidavits, start investigating on their own and can be a great asset in getting your money back.

I sent an e-mail to each agency, and copied dt distributors. I also sent an e-mail to dt stating I was concerned I was about to be a fraud victim, and to contact me or refund the money or I was going to pursue them criminally and civilly.

I got the standard e-mail response from them that everyone else got. The information wasn't on the order, it's been cancelled and a refund issued, grow up, I'm running a business and have no time for you, etc.

I replied I was coming after them with charges if my refund wasn't issued immediately. I got more flippant replies calling me a baby, stating I needed to grow up, calling me stupid, etc. In every reply I sent them I advised I was pursuing them with charges and would do whatever it took to stop them from stealing.

I got a refund thee days later.

If you're also a victim, contact every agency I have listed above, and copy dt distributors all correspondence with them. Be a pain in the butt and push criminal charges. You'll get your money back.

This is customer issue has been resolved. This is nothing but a smear tactic and the claim is not true. Please remove this thread. If there is a problem that we don't know about we are more then willing togo above and beyond to pacify this customer. To our knowledge there is nothing leeft to resolve. This simply was s special item ordered that is not cancellable.

Totally not true

Back in 2005 I owned the company, now I am no longer the owner, nor am I involved in day to day business of this company. The person that listed this information is not telling the entire truth, but rather his side of the storey. Now they have listed information that is not true and has even tried to extort me for money to remove the comments. Do not call me at work, because I do not know the answers to the questions you have. Investigation will show this customer received a complete refund and the complaint was resolved.

However, He refuses to update this log.
