Complaint Review: D.T. Systems

DT Good Dog D.T. Systems, D.T. Systems, S>COM False adversising, falty equipment, poor costumer service tried to bill me for warrenty repair, replace defective equipemtn with more defective equipment, refused to refund money, now only refund just over half of original cost, owner will not answer calls have to deal with employees only. Ripoff Dallas Texas

I purchased a st 202 shock collar manufactured by DT Systems in through Cabellas in Sepetember of 2004, by mid December 2004 I had to sent the collar in for repairs one collar was working at a distance of 50 feet and the second collar was not working at all. I sent the units back to DT Systems and was shocked it took over 6 weeks to repair them and then when they were finished I got a note in the mail that I owed $125 dollars for the repairs that were done on a set of collars there were still under warrenty. I then called the company and talked to a guy named Ray and he got the charges taken care of and then shipped my collars to me.

By the end of Febuary I had to send this set of collars back to the factory and get them repiard again they were now only working at about 50 feet again although each collar was working then. This is a far cry from the 1 mile range that is advertised by the company.
They comapany then replaced the set of collars and sent me a new set and low and behold this set quit working by the middle of April and I sent the replacement collars back to the company again I received them around the first of may and was shocked that the next morning when I put them on my dogs that they did not work at all. I called this guy Ray that day and demanded my money back he drug his feet for days and did not call me back then I called him and he informed me that the owner would not refund my money and no offer was made to repair the collars. I then called him one week later and demanded my money back and he said he would talk to the owner I then demanded to talk to the owner also and was told the owner takes no calls from customers. I received a call two days later and was offered a 285 dollar refund on a 485 dollar purchase I said not only no but &*^$ no I want all my money back.

Ray called me again today and said this mystery owner would not refund any more than 285 dollars and today I said the same thing I want all my money back.

In short poor business poor customer service, spine less owner and am sorry I have every done busness with these people.

I am looking for other people who have had problems with DT SYSTEMS and would like to look at a class action suite against them.
