Complaint Review: DTopp Marketing

On February 6, 2018 I used Venmo to pay DTopp Marketing $485 plus Venmo 3% fee of 14.55 to begin the process of deleting 4 negative google reviews about our company.  DTopp told me that they have a 90 guarantee policy that if the reviews are not deleted I would be refunded my money.  Well as of 8/3/18 and lots of phone calls and emails to DTopp I have recieved nothing.  All they do is send an automated email responses back.  I was given David Topping's email address and I emailed him directly and his responses were all sarcastic and condescending.  Of course he never answered any of my questions like when am I getting my refund?  He told me email the help desk which I responded, "YOU ARE THE HELP DESK".

False Info, Anger Issues, & Pot Calling the Kettle Black

As clearly stated on our website, in multiple direct emails to you, and in our contract... to request a refund, go to DTopp.com/refund/

One day later, you then replied to our email and said: "still waiting for an answer from the refund department". 

Yet, you still had not filled out a refund request. So, 5 minutes later, we replied once again telling you to request a refund at DTopp.com/refund/

You then had a mental break and verbally attacked us like the cyberbully you are. Here are a few excerpts from your emails to us:

  • "I'll just go to my credit card company and make a formal complaint of fraudulent activity by you and your company and they will return my money."
  • "I had a conversation with the FBI"
  • "You'll be driving a Pinto instead of a Jaguar. You might want to hock that ring to pay for your legal expenses. Have a fantastic weekend you little weasel."
  • "Literally you're a nobody. Just another street punk without an education or most likely without a father. Most likely jerking off to yourself on Youtube. That's the problem with you millenials."
  • "I will even fly down to Wilmington to visit my police friend/detective to make a visit to you."

Your final email was signed "Your worst nightmare, Steve"

At this point, you finally filled out a $485 refund request.
BTW - Great job, we knew you could do it! It seemed like a hard task but you got through it like a champ! A+

As a refresher, the reviews on your company (Homechek Inc in York, PA) read:

"The front office and dealing with customer service and the company in its entirety is run very poorly! I would not recommend!"

"Inspector was not thorough. Customer service is horrible. Woman in charge of the front desk is rude and does not provide any assistance efficiently. Would not recommend at all."

“He didn't even follow the companies own protocol and they refused to even refund the cost of the inspection even though we were left to pay to rewire a lot of the house which the seller would have had to do, if we had known about it."

For reference, you also have an “F” rating with the BBB and failed to respond to multiple complaints.

In closing, although you acted like a maniac, your refund request was approved.
Not because you had a meltdown… but because you filled out the refund request form.
