This Company pays no Deadhead or Empty Miles,No Layover Time, or Wait Time,No Honest Dispatcher, No after hours Dispatcher, No Emergency Numbers,No Advance pay for ANY REASON! If you do get a cell phone # to call, your call is rarely if EVER returned! All of this information is revealed after you get done, and are trying to get your pay.! Which is like PULLING TEETH! The Owners name is Tom Kamadena. Now, Is this the kind of Company that should stay in business in this Country?
I think not! So, You independent Truckers out there, BEWARE!!!

first let me say that DTS does pay you deadhead miles (unless you was an owner op. with them), second they do pay layover/wait time (ihave pay stubs to prove that along with the dead head miles) third the dispatchers are honest i have not had any of them lie to me ever (chad,dan,dale or bruce) you claim there are no emergnecy numbers? they are all cleary listed in your permitt book that was given to you when you was assigned a truck and also clearly listed in your employee hand book that was given to you.
the only thing i will agree with you on is that sometimes it is hard to get someone to call you back (except for kevin in saftey he has always returned my calls) you say no advanced pay?? well what about the $100 they load on your comdata card every monday night/tuesday morning at midnight? if you go and spend it all and need more every week well then of course your not gonna get any extra advances!! and last but not least of course they are not gonna do anything to ever help you againg when you dump a truck on them with a transmisson that YOU tore up then get another truck from them and abandon it in florida just so you could get home!!!
