Mrs. Attaway has a history of failing to pay people who work for her either on a commission on contract basis. She uses the excuses that have not performed by her "rules" when she continues to change the rules based upon her desire to continue to deduct from their pay.
She will not sign a contract or give a Letter of Understanding on commissions because she does not want to pay the booking agents for their future booksing during Mardi Gras, French Quarter Fest and Jazz Fest. All damage deposits are suppose to be returned when the maids check the property after a guest checks out. It is exceedingly difficult to get the damage deposits back from Mrs. Attaway. She tries to go around the booking agents and give the guests a lower rate to avoid paying fees by taking their personal checks and not notifying the agents that a sale has taken place.
In addition Mrs. Attaway has instructed her booking agents to not rent to Blacks during Essence Fest held every year in New Orleans during the first week of July. She has said they tell you there will be 2 people in the house - and there will be 14 and they steal property in the house. This has happened the past two years.
