Dubson-dubson.com totally screwed me up and my freelancer team... They don't pay their freelancers.. Aventura Arizona
Frederic Dubson last year contacted me and my freelance team to work on one of his client www.barnes-international.com . The website was in french. I have to hire a french transaltor to help me code this site. We work day in and day out and deliver the code to dubson-dubson.com on it. Once the code was tested and delivered, we never heard back from Frederic again.
Sent numerous emails to get paid for the work we have done but no answer at all.... I am in the middle of hiring a lawyer to file a law suite against dubson-dubson.com and www.barnes-international.com for using our code for which they have never paid... I can't believe there are people like Frederic exist that make you work really hard and then never pay... He might have screwed up several people like that but this time he can't get away from this one...

This is the email Geoffrey Duch sent us to work on their project. Once the work was completed and delivered, never heard back from these folks.... That makes me not to work for anyone without getting paid in advance....

Further to your conversation with Frederic, below please find all the specifications for our project.
This project is based on a back-end office with a MySQL Database and a couple of websites for each of their real estate agencies in several countries.
So far, the job is 85% completed.
You will be assigned to the following tasks:
1/ - Concerning the back-end office:
- Implementation of the "Owners Section" that manages the owners of
each property in the data-base. The client will be able to create/
remove/modify owner's profile.
- Implementation of a tool that matches properties in the database to
registered end-users' profiles. The aim of this tool is to lead to ad
e-campaign and to assist realtors to find new potential customers.
- Implementation of a section that browses the history of the visits
by any realtors.
- Sending pre-formatted emails to the owners.
- Generating pre-formatted PDF brochures automatically for each property (DESIGN, SCRIPT AND LIBRARY PROVIDED).
- Auto logging out if the mouse is inactive for 5-10 minutes.
2/ - Concerning the websites:
- The 6 websites are built on the same framework and contains roughly
the same sections and the same editorial content.
- 5 of them display the properties that are in the MySQL database we
built. The other one (MIAMI), which is 100% completed, uses the MLS links of a
third-party firm.
For the first five websites, the framework is 90% completed.
KEEP IN MIND THAT ALL THE WEBSITES HAS QUITE EXACTLY THE SAME FRAMEWORK.
AS SOON AS THE FIRST WEBSITE (PARIS) IS COMPLETED, THE OTHERS HAVE JUST TO BE ADAPTED FROM THIS BASIS.
You will also be assigned to:
1/ - The implementation of some features for each property like a
mortgage calculator, the point of interests (bus, school etc.),
location map, arrange a visit
2/ - The implementation of the users section that allows internet users
to sign up/log in and get access to their private profile ( display
bookmarked properties, view statistics (publicity, visits) for the
registered owners).
Dubson & Dubson keeps FULLY IN CHARGE of the DESIGN and all the graphic elements of this project.
We DO NOT expect from you any graphic design.
The job requires MySQL/PHP/Javascript and other Web programming languages skills.
