DUCT DEPOT NJ Duct Depot of NJ...called me to offer promotional price of $39.99 to clean ducts and dryer. The technician, Ken, then stated i had mole and needed to take a contract for yearly service with air purifier and treatment of bacteria spray. He wrote up an estimate order for $2,250 for parts & labor but didnt state the 5 yr service...he stated that once he comes back to install the purifier i would get a formal contract with the service and a breakdown. I signed the so called Elicit a Promo Duct Cleaning, said i had mold and needed their yearly service and a Purifier Bergenfield New Jersey

Duct Depot of Bergen County NJ provided me with a Receipt with no License# or Company Address, nor Fax# on that Receipt, stated they would install a Airpurifier in 10 days and service my system. I asked the Tech, Ken, why he did not noted the number of years of service and why the price of Air Purifier shows up FREE, he said ignore these numbers, this is just a receipt for the $2,250 to get parts ordered. Once parts come in and I install, i will have the Contract for you to sign and everything listed. It's just a receipt !!! They never called after 7 or 8 business days to say parts were in so i called and they said any day. Then i called the Third week to check and was told it could take up to a month, I then said i am cancelling, as they did not stay in touch and i sensed problems. The Manager (accent) came on and promised any day and wanted to extend service for 10 yrs, i became even more suspicious. The third week came and went and no one followed up with me, so i called and said i was cancelling and i had no need to speak to the Manager. I was done.

I then contacted Discover to advise them of this issue and my concerns to remove the charges off my card. They did after i sent in the paperwork. A month later the charge appeared on my statement, i immediately called Discover Dispute only to find out the Company refused to return the money stating they already ordered the equipment and were not able to reach me. I reiterated that it was cancelled, and let them show proof of the equipment and phone records that they tried to reach me because it never happened. I also said i cancelled because they breached the agreement install date and are not trustworthy. I was told by Discover to take Legal Action on my end.
