Soon after we moved into our condo in 1997 I changed all the components in both bathroom toilets. A couple of months later we had a problem with a leak under the bathroom floor. On the homeowner's asscoiation's advide I called Duke's plumbing. They eventually fixed the problem, but then told me all the components in the toilets were about 20 years old and needed to be replaced. I just filed them away as crooks and made a note not to use them again.

A couple of years later, the condo associaton sent Duke's plumbing out to find the source of a noise in our building. It turns out it was my neighbor's toilet causing the problem. His toilet components WERE 20 years old. Before he left, the man told me that the components in my toilet were 20 years old, also, and needed to be replaced. That is apparently their standard operating procedures. They are just plain crooks.

I wrote a letter and received a reply from the owner, Lee "The Duke" Turner. He was vehement in his denial and told me that if I tried to make trouble he would sue me. All I can say is, they are just plain crooks. Naples has a huge population of elederly retirees. It makes me shudder to think how many of them have been ripped of by Duke's Plumbing.
