As you can see you have a (--) score, which 6 emails went out in the 2 months and 41 emails sent to others in the last 12 months. You can also see where there are 3 late payments being reported against xxxxxxx which we can dispute for you.

After you have had an opportunity to look around our learning center, please call me and I will get you matched up with the best solution given your companys unique needs.

We did not call him back, so he called us....

The conversation I just had with Mark Engler (englerm@dnb.com) shocked me for such a formerly reputable company. Mark informed me that he was a credit specialist and wanted me to give him our top creditors to improve/fix our report. I told him I was not comfortable giving him that information, that is what you do, why are you asking me. I informed him that we are debt free and not in need of credit.

He then told me that I do not have an option.  I aksed him what is this going to cost.  He told me $499.

I declined his offer and expressed that the D&B information should be accurate all of the time and not contingent on me paying for them to correct it.

They charge companies to release the information. Why wouldn't it be accurate? I will not pay, nor will I ever trust D&B information for my business. Why would anyone buy information from this company??

You may want to visit www.cortera.com.  you can sign up for their Free online credit community and invite other companies to rate your business.  It's all free, they have stuff you can buy too, I think they have $3.00 credit reports or something.  But if you just want to rate a business you've dealt with or have other companies rate you to build your commercial credit, this is a pretty cool way.  You should check it out.
