Likewise, only put iceshield where you can see it from the ground. Did not properly install shingles at the valleys (wrong direction!), and left huge gaps around the chimney, etc. Lied about all of this, and then refuse dto answer my calls. Likewise, he only put iceshield where you can see it from the ground. Did not properly install shingles at the valleys (wrong direction!). Left huge gaps around the chimney, etc. Lied about all of this, and then refused to answer my calls or email. Also, during construction: Did a crappy job of cleaning up the yard -- they left garbage everywhere, that blew around int he wind, and the driveway was *littered* with nails -- not just a few!~ Flat tires, how nice! They left the roof open for a whole weekend -- two days + with a big section bare right down to the wood! Happily, it did not rain... I tried to contact him many times after the roof leaked, dramatically, in multiple places, soon after they finished the work! Two years on, we have spent about $2000 to make it right... finally stripping and re-roofing large areas!
