Where is the ripoff? Just because the clerk inside cancels YOUR pump request, doesn't change the FACT that YOU tried several times to swipe your card. THAT is where YOU are getting a PENDING on your card. Because YOU swiped it more then once and each time you swiped it you created a NEW request. The clerk was nice enough to help you out but it wont change ALL you did BEFORE they could assist you. Isnt it amazing that you cant remember a string of five numbers and how quickly you FAIL to recognize that YOU put that money on hold because YOU tried several times. Its this little thing called COMMON SENSE, it seems to be a missing quality in most US citizens anymore. Whats so scary is that YOU as an adult cant think past your credit card. YOU did this to YOU. For whatever reason YOU chose to have NO HUMAN CONTACT. Be it because YOU are to important to deal with the peons of the world, or YOU just don't think YOU have to wait in line. I don't know but YOU should really examine how YOU interact with people. Because each and everytime YOU swipe your card to put gas in your vehicle you are putting roughly $125.00 ON HOLD. When you are done pumping THEN it sends the actual amount you pumped and THEN they refund back what you did not use. Since they wouldn't give a lowly clerk the type of access to their system that would allow that clerk to reverse everything YOU have already done, I don't see what more ANYONE could have done for you. YOU swiped your card several times, each time YOU did this YOU created ANOTHER request. This means YOU will JUST HAVE TO WAIT until their system catches up with YOUR transaction. As YOU said in your post, its PENDING!!!!! Which means that YOU have NOT been ripped off. Then you seek to passively accuse them of somehow messing it all up when it was ALL your attempts at the pump. I would take a few mins and berate you for your lack of common sense and your inability to accept when YOU have fu(ked up, but like most children it would go in one ear and out the other with ZERO retention on your end, so I wont even try........Anymore THIS level of stup!dity is common and almost expected.
