I purchased a 36" six-burner stove/oven that costs $3000. It's intended to be a higher-end commerical grade stove/oven for residential use. The stove top portion of the product works just fine but from day 1 the oven has not cooked evenly. Anything I try to cook in the oven cooks too fast on the top & not enough on the bottom. I've tried using the convection feature on the stove (which by the way, is THE ONLY bells & whistles that come with this over-priced stove). The comvection oven does not help the oven to bake more evenly (like traditional convection ovens) it just make the temperature hotter. This has been on on-going problem, of which I reported to NXR. Today I call to let them know that my oven does not heat up at all, it intermittently decides when it wants to light & when it doesn't. Many times I turn the oven to "on" only to smell gas, as the gas is getting to the stove, but it never lights. Sometimes I'm able to turn the oven "off" and then back "on" and occasionally it will light. I call today and they tell me it's out of warranty and they can send me a ignitor but I'll have to find & pay for my own service person. They aren't going to do anything about the fact that it does not cook evenly and never has. Very disappointed in this over-priced stove/oven. For the price, you'd think they would stand-by their product. And to add insult to injury, he says we don't have any record of you calling in previously, yet he had my name, address & phone number in his system (& it's not like I bought the product directly from them, I bought it at Home Depot). And they had also sent me a gas conversion kit & installer to come out when I first purchased the stove. I had called in then also, but mysteriously "no record of any calls from me." I feel beyond ripped-off with this product. It IS COMPLETE GARBAGE!
