I was looking for an older tv series on DVD and found this website which claimed to have the whole series on DVD for a reasonable price.  There was nothing obvious on the website to indicate they were working outside of the USA.  I figured that out when the payment went through and I had a charge on my card for currency exchange.  The original charge for the DVDs plus shipping was slightly more than the receipt listed as well.

I waited a couple of weeks before contacting them by email to ask if they had shipped my order yet and was basically told to be patient.   A couple weeks later, I contacted them again and finally they sent me a tracking number for my order.  I received it 2 weeks after they sent it.  When I attempted to play the first disk, it would not play.  I tried it on on a couple different DVD players and 2 different computers with the same result.  It was not readable.  The next 2 disks were the same.  The 3rd disk was empty.  The computer asked if I wanted to record on it.  The 4th disk played but the quality was terrible.

It was obvious that someone had just recorded these from a TV and put them on disk.  The disks that would play had the channel logo on them and they managed to get parts of commercials included.  I made a list of the bad disks, 8 in all, out of 23 disks, and sent it to the email I had to communicate with the company.  I was assured that I would be receiving replacements for the bad disks.

I waited a couple weeks and asked about them.  Again, I was told to be patient.  I thought waiting a couple weeks was being patient but I waited a couple more and asked again.  They sent me a tracking number for the "replacement disks".  Another 2 weeks passed and I finally received the second set of disks.  They were packaged inside of an unmarked, plastic container.  The disks were just stacked together inside of a ripped plastic bag so they could rub against each other.

The disks themselves were hand marked with a permanent marker with numbers.  Nothing indicated what was supposed to be on them.  Upon putting them, one by one, in the computer DVD player, I found that every one of them was blank!  I could have gone and bought new, record-able disks from Walmart and had the same thing except many of these had rub marks from shipping.

I wrote back to tell them about the disks they had sent and included a picture of the pile of disks inside the unmarked plastic container.  They argued with me that what I told them wasn't possible and that they no longer had that series available so they wouldn't be able to send me good replacements but they would "be glad to offer a very special discount on your next purchase from us".

That doesn't complete the series I purchased and do they really think, after all this, that I am going to give them one more penny of my hard-earned money?  I would really recommend that people stay away from this website.  They are a rip off!
