Purchased #1 DVD Ripper in 2003. Since then, there have been numerous updates to the software. I started with Version 3 and missed updates up through Version 8.
So when I updated to Ver. 8, my registration was no longer valid. Apparently the registration process within the software changed significantly in later versions that I missed.

RegSoft handled the initial registration back in 2003, and since Plimus handles it now, they are both pointing the finger back to each other and to Dvdtox.

Now, guess where Dvdtox points all their problems? Plimus, of course.

-Plimus said they did not handle the initial registration, so they can't help me.
-RegSoft said to refer to support@dvdtox.com
-dvdtox refers everything to Plimus

In other words, if anything falls though the cracks, you are out of luck.

I no longer purchase shareware, since a lot of shareware developers outsource their support this way.
