I work a little under two months for this company and was under the impression that I would be getting paid no matter what, "even if you don't make a sell". When you are hired they have you come in for three days of training for about six hours a day. You learn how to sell the product, or at least the gist of it before being sent to advanced training, and the very last day they tell you about how you get paid.

When they explain how you get paid they tell you that you get paid $16.36 an hour and that if you do 20 appointments in two weeks you will get paid $981.60. Then, they mention that you make a $200 bonus if you sell their product and if your bonuses are more than your hourly rate you would get the greater of the two no matter what. On numerous occasions I mentioned how others have stated they didn't like working for their company because they were never paid and I was reassured many times that "unless you do not work you will be getting paid". You have to sign a contract that says "20 appointments in two weeks = $981.60", but no where in the contract does it state that you will not be getting paid at all unless you do 20 in two weeks or make a sell.

Another thing they mention is how they are not door to door salesmen and that they do not put any pressure on their customers. What they do not mention to you is if you do not have people that you can start off with that you have to do "registrations"; you go from door to door saying "I'm doing an air survey in your neighborhood and I'm here to ask you a few questions". Then, you go straight into the questions and at the end ask for their information and inform them you're going to enter them into a contest to win a $500 gift card. While this is all true, what they do is take your registration cards and have you call these people back to set up an appointment with them to try to sell them the product.

When you start going on appointments you call in to the office and they let you know what time and who with. My husband and I both worked here so they were always mixing up our appointments, because we had the same last name. At the end of your appointments you have to call in and let them know "the situation". If the customer doesn't want to buy the product, the secretary or owner wants to know the situation and then they have you "make a large T on the paper and write down tomorrow and any other day their rainbow will cost $2,565 and that today they get it for $2,065. You take $500 off for them trading in that nasty dust blower, they get the aquamate a $300 value and the rainmate a $140 value absolutely free after their four friends and family take a look. Now stick your hand out and say 'doesn't that sound a lot better' while nodding your head like crazy". After this, if the customer still does not want to buy it they lower the initial and monthly two more times, but "remember not to be pushy". I even know of customers who stated to the CSR that they had bad credit and didn't think they could get it; the CSR assured them that it would be fine and got the customer all excited, but later had to inform the customer that they could not be financed. The customer was informed of this only after they had the rainbow in their home and now they really wanted it and basically was told they could not have it unless they paid full price for it right there.

Since, I was under the impression that "unless you do not work you will be getting paid" I asked the owner about my paycheck. He told me to go to marketing to pull up all the appointments I had so he could take a look at it. After at least fifteen minutes of waiting he pulled me into his office and showed me that I had done seven one week and five the other. I just looked at him and said "okay" and he said "you haven't done 20 in two weeks". "Okay, so I need to do eight more to be paid?" Then, he asks for someone to bring me my contract and says "it says 20 appointments in two weeks to get paid $981.60". My husband then asks, "so she's not getting paid"? Again, the owner referred me to the contract and said the same thing. My husband asks one more time before finally being told no. "What did you think we were saying when you signed this?" We both informed him how we were told the entire time that we got paid for what we did no matter what and then quit.

This is merely a warning for anyone and everyone that decides to work for this company. I'm working on making a formal complaint to the NM Workforce and the Attorney General for the very apparent issues this company has in hopes that they will be addressed.

I agree that there is potential with making money selling this product, but it is shady to say the least and extremely misleading initially. I was contacted for an interview to a posting on Careerbuilder.com. Gentleman named Marcus gave me the time for my interview, later the same Monday afternoon. I show up and there is 12 or so others. We are handed an extremely rudimentary application, watch a short video and called out one at a time for 'one on ones'.

When I got to mine, it lasted 2 min (if that, was congratulated and told when to be in on Tuesday for orientation. No problem, returned for it and again was greeted by the extremely enthusiastic yet ingenuine Marcus. He spent about an hour and a half reviewing the training ( unpaid mind you, he even made the comparison to flight attendants not being paid until they are in flight) and said the training would last 3days, 8 hrs each day.

Still quite skeptical, I returned for day 1. Learned the first part of presentation, no problem. Got to the homework: make a list of "Ok's" (or referrals) to simulate what our customers would have to. I had some difficulty coming up with Married Homeowners, which were the main qualifying criteria we were to strictly adhere to. I don't have any family in this new place I have only lived in for a short while, and most of my friends rent and are not married. None the less, I returned for day two. I learned the next chunk of the presentation, and was really impressed with the product, but also recognized the tactics used in it were melodramatic and downright unrealistic to normal use if the customers current Vaccuume cleaner, but participated while heatedly none the less.

Then our homework for this day: call the people on the list to have them agree to me let us " practice" our pitch, still offering them the free gift incentives. I was utterly disappointed, and needless to say, resumes where I left off for an actual job, only nearly 20 hours later of unpaid pep talks later. I would compare this to any other 'opportunity' that requires you to purchase the product ahead of time....only you are not paying for it, your friends and family are footing the bill. WASTE OF TIME!

The person that filed this complaint is not very bright. You state that you asked for your paycheck after two weeks under the impression you could get paid without putting in much effort and they reviewed your contract with you. If you were so upset then why did you stick around for another month?

New people always ask their managers about the pay and we make it very clear that if you want the base pay you need to do the 20 demos. It was also not mentioned in the complaint how many sales were made and how many were delivered. Employees get the higher of the base pay or their commission. It really is not complicated. If you cannot qualify your leads like you are taught and make money, like you are taught, you should not work there anyways.

Dynamic Enterprises provides all the tools you need to become successful, it is up the the individual to put those tools to use.

There are no "door to door" sales, registering is one of several forms of lead generation.

Very few people do not want the product, and unless you like to live in filth, everybody needs the product. The phone call at the end is an extremely common practice in sales. People generally say no because they cannot afford the options given to them prior to talking to the manager on the phone.

Many people worry they cannot purchase because they don't have perfect credit. Perfect credit is not necessary and we have several options for people with less than perfect credit. Everybody can get approved one way or another. Sometimes this is harder and that is why you're supposed to QUALIFY your leads, this prevents the situation of turn downs. And no, they do not have to pay full price right then and there.

I also want to add that the pay is covered numerous times by several people, including the owner who has an open door policy if you have questions. People need to pay attention and not just hear what they want to hear.

I have worked there almost 2 years and I have never worked for a more fair, more generous person in my life. Not to mention all the contests and vacations, etc...

this report is not completely true....  on the contract that was mentioned in the report, the person stated that it is not mentioned that there is no pay if you do NOT complete 20 presentations.  this is a flat out lie!!!  this is a direct quote from the contract:

If 20 qualified presentations are not completed in 14-day period, as per above guidelines, Independent Dealer IS NOT eligible for the $981.60; however, Independent Dealer does keep all production bonuses earned for the 14-day period.

these are the little things that people don't mention when they have something to complain about when things don't go their way.  we see new people in our business all the time, and if you look at their work history, you will see that they never last ANYWHERE they go.  people expect to get paid, but do nothing.  i have been with the company quite a while and have NEVER been cheated on a paycheck, but that is because i put in a full time effort.  i know who put this negative report on here, and trust me, they put in very little effort (both of them).  our company has been around for over 70 years and is VERY SUCCESSFUL!!!!  a company does not get that way by ripping people (customers or workers) off.
