Complaint Review: Dynamis Energy LLC

I encourage everyone to write letters to the editor PROTESTING the possible approval of the Dynamis building and/or air permit application. Dynamis has NOT experienced the proper vetting process. I spoke to the Spokane Waste to Energy facility director, Damon Taam. Differences in Dynamis landing their Ada County Contract and how the Spokane civic leaders chose their waste to energy company is in stark contrast. Please note: I am not condoning incineration, but if we are going to do it, we need to do it right.

COMPETITION
14 companies competed for the contract. - Spokane

NO COMPETITION
Dynamis approached Ada County Commissioners and the original contract was signed within nine days.

DEBT TO CREDIT RATIO WAS VETTED
Just as one would know the debt to credit ratio of a partner cosigning on a loan.

QUESTIONABLE DEBT TO CREDIT RATIO
Questionable considering other financial dealings.

Dynamis has canceled at least four meetings with the public, reporters, and elected officials.

ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARDS TOP PRIORITY: HIGHER THAN EPA STANDARDS
To be a good neighbor, Spokane understands the importance of protecting the health of its residents. Their standards are far better EPA standards.

DYNAMIS EMISSIONS ARE THEORETICAL
Since no other Dynamis facilities exist and Dynamis is NOT submitting data from its test facility in Middleton, the data is theoretical. Remember:
Dynamis originally marketed itself as No Emissions
Dynamis currently hopes to barely make the EPA standards.
Permit application was deemed incomplete
The Idaho Conservation League will oppose the DEQ permit, if it is granted, based on insufficient data.
