Trying to be an educated consumer, I checked with the Better Business Bureau in the Fairfax County, VA office and was informed that Dynasty International was a legitimate company and that there were "no known reports of fradulent business practices." I bought two packages for $250.00 which included my 5 day 4 night stay in Bahamas as well as 4 days and 3 nights in Orlando, with the $50 gift certificates towards airline fares. Note that you must use their travel service and the fares quoted are very high, and you cannot take advantage of any of the sales. I could never coordinate the vacations to the time that I wanted to use them, plus you had to make several phone calls before you got through to a "person." Just before Sept 11th I had tried to schedule a few trips within the 45 day window only to learn that nothing was available. After 9/11/01 I called Dynasty in Dale City and the run around began. Needless to say, that I am very upset that I have put out this money in good faith and got the "support of the BBB" that this was not fraud and now I can't even use it, now can I get my money back. I note that in spite of all that I have read about Dynasty that my new office is still receiving faxes giving away the same vacation bonuses. What is the FCC or Consumer Industry doing about preventing this and how can I get my money back?
