I ordered accessory brushes for my Dyson vacuum. The package was sent with no signature requirement, supposedly left on the porch..unfortunately there isn't one. I live in an apartment building with no reception and an open entry immediately off the streed. I never received the package, I have no accessory brushes, and I am currently out the $64.99 plus shipping. I am now locked in a battle with their customer service who is making demeaning suggestions like "take a look around the perimeter of your home", as though I wouldn't have thought of that myself? I presume this is a stall tactic..the usual b.s. to find a way to not replace the items. It seems to me that if a company is going to make the desision to let a package out of their door with no signature requirement, they should be ready to replace the items without dragging the customer through a load of red tape. I can tell you that I am ready to burn the vacuum, video the ceremony, and post it on YouTube where it will probably be seen by millions. I hope this is worth the price of the plastic that went into the three missing brushes.

Thanks Dyson. I love you too.

I am out $65 bucks and pissed off. I hope to do a lot more damage to the Dyson reputation.

I have a Dyson DC07 upright. A little 3 inch plastic catch that connects the main cyclone system to the macine broke. When I tried to purchase a replacement piece which would cost about $4, I was told I needed to buy the entire cyclone assembly fr $79.99. I am going to destroy the vacuum and buy a Dirt Devil for $50. I was told to schlep out to Brooklyn to a repair company and see if they had the piece. I told the customer service(?) rep that there was no way I could do that and, since they manufacture the piece, they should be able to get one. I was rudely brushed off and told in no uncertain terms that it's tough but that's the way Dyson does business and, if I feel cheated, well, to bad. Never again with me I'm afraid. They manufacture plastic crap for a premium price and I'm a quick learner.
