Dzurenda and Associates, Inc A Marketing/Sales Outsource Company Talking advantage of Small Businesses, Employees, and there Billion Dollar Company AT & T Internet
I was recently an employee at Dzurenda & Associates, located at 185 Berry St, San Francisco, Suite 3450.
I wasnt fired, nor did I quit my job due to the small lack of wage at the company. I left because of the lies they told small store owners, and other independently owned and operated businesses. I was outraged of the deception and fabrication they told hard working store owners, which I may add where family owned business.
Apparently AT & T had hired Tervor Dzurenda (President of Dzurenda & Associates INC) to run a forty people team to campaign the sales of Upgrading Phone Plans for small business in San Francisco. All of the forty people; including me where right out of college, between the ages of 20 28, hoping for a career in marketing and a paycheck that was suitable (instead I got nothing for three weeks).
But instead, we were feed lies to tell the small businesses by telling them inaccurate statements such as:
HELLO, MY NAME IS TOM. IM HERE WITH AT&T, THE REASON IM HERE IS BECAUSE OF THE CHANGES OF RATES AND PLANS IN THE AREA. MY JOB IS TO MAKE SURE THAT OUR AT&T ACCOUNTS HAVE BEEN UP TO DATE MY I SEE YOUR PHONE SO I CAN CHECK OUR RECORDS TO SEE IF YOU HAVE BEEN UPDATED.
In reality, there have not been any changes at all in the rates and plans. Its just a way for us (salesman) to see if we can sucker the customer to upgrade their plan and up there phone bill. We were suppose to tell them that they would be saving money, they would get all these features in their phone lines, but ethical, they were getting bamboozled.
The company would teach us HOTSPOTS, a term used by the company to push to sell more to the customers. Or other terms to mislead or scam the small business.
I do not know if the billion dollar company AT&T knows that Dzurenda & Associates is exploiting there name, and making these small business owner think that AT&T is a corrupt company. Reputation is a very important thing in the business world, and Dzurenda is ill reputing AT&T.
In conclusion, I just graduated college, trying to find my place in the business world. I always painted a bright picture of my career and had aspiration that I would work for an honest firm. But my experience at Dzurenda & Associates gave me a negative outlook. I felt sorry for these hard working store owners. All they want to do is run a respectable business and put food on the table. And we came in and hiked up there phone bill from an average of 100 dollars to 250 dollars.
Whoever is reading this, please investigate this company and expose them to other young adults, and small businesses that are getting ripped off.
Thank you very much.

Do not waste your time with Kinetic Marketing (Pleasant Hill, CA, http://www.kineticsf.com ), NorCal Group (San Jose, CA, http://www.sjnorcalgroup.com ), Dzurenda & Associates (San Francisco, CA, http://www.dzurendainc.com. ) or EastBay Concepts (- Walnut Creek, CA, http://www.eastbayconcepts.com ). All four of these door-to-door sales companies spend lots of money advertising on http://craigslist.org, http://careerbuilder.com and http://monster.com.
If you want to work a commission sales job, go sell cars or something else where you can make lots of money with health insurance and vacation benefits. Check out any of the previous listed websites and you will notice they all look cheesy with music playing immediately. The websites state their specialty is face-to-face marketing which is basically door-to-door sales. All the websites have the same look.
In 2005, I interviewed with the now defunct Granton Marketing (Concord, CA). The outside and inside of their building were not professional looking. I wasted my time filling out a job application at their office. They required me to fill out a job application onsite. I was not invited back for a "second interview" and day of observation. I am so glad I was not suckered into scamming business owners.
FYI, for those ROR readers in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Cydcor affiliate named The Merrimack Group, later renamed Lattitude Group, went out of business. These Cydcor affilates do not last very long if they cannot scam business customers to make sales to pay the rent and to continually pay for advertising on craigslist.org, monster.com and careerbuilder to sucker recent college graduaters to scam small business owners.
Check out the following website to read about Cydcor and find out how these marketing job scams proliferate. http://wolfram.org/scam/cydcor.html
