E-bay allows/allowed seller to get away with stealing my money E-bay Internet

E-bay has allowed a member (Seller rgdb111 - Ralph Guzman and Debra Blanks) to continue doing business despite many complaints and attempts that rgdb111 still holds $2025 of my money.

Seller was paid on August 29, 2006. As a result of items paid for were significantly different than what Seller described them as in listing and e-mail communications (actually items were significantly damaged), Seller agreed to refund my money but never did.

Attempts were made to resolve through E-bay and many complaints were sent to E-bay, but E-bay has done nothing. Seller was allowed to get away with stealing my money and E-bay has done nothing about it. E-bay, instead awards Seller by allowing Seller to exist as a superseller and continue doing business.

Many attempts outside of E-bay have also been made to recover my money, namely Bexar County Dispute Resolution Center, San Antonio Better Business Bureau, Internet Crime, The Attorney General in Texas and Seller does not answer.

It has been almost 9 months and Seller continues to thrive on E-bay as if they have been the perfect Seller and have not stolen money from a buyer. E-bay allows this to go on whereby the consumers are hurt and E-bay's only concern is that they continue to make money. Consumers need to know this and I have been told by detectives (that I have discussed this case with) that they receive a tremendous amount of complaints as a result of E-bay.

In September of last year, I sold a camera, the highest bidder paid $550 plus shipping. I checked to make sure the money was in my pay pal account, it was, so I shipped the camera. The next day, I checked my pay pal account only to find out all the money I had in there was gone, I then checked my bank account, the buyer hacked into my ebay account, and emptied every penny I had, It was two days before my wedding...Neither Ebay nor Pay pal would help me, infact, I still have never gotten the money that was in my pay pal account, they still say I owe them money for selling the camera, which I won't pay because I haven't seen my money. I have never shopped or sold on ebay again.

Good Luck to you

Ebay only cares about the money

Honestly, all Ebay cares about is getting their hands on people's money. If they help you resolve your issue, then they are out the final value fee they charged the seller. They do nothing to fix technical issues and do not reprimand those guilty of policy violations. They just let them continue to rip people off and send them degrading emails using the Ebay mail system. They use online help chat to attempt to harass members into paying up their current unbilled fees before they'll agree to fix anything. You won't get any help from Ebay...or from Paypal...they own it. Call a lawyer!
