Complaint Review: E BAY - ebay.com

Placed Heinkel Tourist Motorscooter Drivetrain 1955-1957 on E-Bay. This was only a motor unit(not running) no wheels, no fenders, no body, no handlebars, no instruments or anything else other than a swingarm and the motor with transmission. By mistake put in wrong category. Item listed on February 19th, 2010 and states DRIVESTRAIN! Put in ad was in wrong category and that parts only as put in for running motor unit. Later found out E-Bay wanted to charge $100 insertion fee. Called E-Bay and lady assured me that they would change this as happened to many people in error. Tried to change it but could not. Would charge only a percentage of sales price plus insertion fee. It only sold for $99 plus shipping which lost money on. Later when going through records start of May for another matter determined they charged  me on February 26th, 2010 a $100 insertion fee which they said they would not do. This invoice record was "printed" on May 10, 2010. Tried to call them on their chat line they kept switching me to person after person after what seemed like hours let it hang for an answer and never got on.

It is virtually almost impossible to find out who to complain to and they do not answer their mail as overpaid on another account forgot password on and that was over several years ago-cannot get that $63 back although once they said they would send me a check. Never received.

E-Bay lately has turned into the BIGGEST RIPOFF ever with their raised fees their push to have sellers pay all shipping costs in price although they make no money. They will not talk to you or give you any satisfaction. I would say Crooks but I cannot as they may sue me. Lately I  have lost money on every one of my E-Bay sales-at this point I give up as they just do not care.

Would not recommend anyone use E-Bay as if you make even one error you might as well have made a pact with the DEVIL because that is what it is!
