Complaint Review: E-Clec-Tech

So I feel like a complete idiot for not looking this company up before placing an order and writing a check. I am out $111.95 now that "Mr. Laramee" has cashed my check. I ordered a few servos from him as the price was decent. I did find the "we only take checks" a bit weird, but that should have put me off immediately.

I placed my order on 12/31/11, he cashed my check on 1/06/12, and I haven't received any replies to any of my emails about my order status. I will probably be waiting indefinitely for my parts now that I see all the reports here on Ripoff Report, as well as on the BBB website.

I'd love to get my $111.95 back, but it's probably to late for that. My own bank isn't liable for a check written and cashed, and there's no way I can dispute this with the guy in person since I am all the way out in California and he's in Florida. Taking him to small claims court would be a huge waste of money too over such a small amount.

Hopefully no one gets duped by this company again.
