I received a letter from ECS advertising 2 credit cards, all I had to do was pay 199.95. Due to working separate shifts, I hadn't known that my husband called their number and told them we wern't interested the night before I called in. I called them and gave them my account number. My husband told me to cancel it. I did on the SAME day called them and withdrew my application. 3 weeks later I get a NSF charge from my bank. $199.95 was being attempted to be withdrawn. Well same as there wasn't enough money, I didn't figure they would do it again, and again I called them to cancel. Each time they were nice and said sorry for any trouble. Exactly 2weeks after the NSF charge, they finally got the money. It was our mortgage payment sitting in the bank. We called again, they said they can't refund till I get my package. then they will. Well I still have NOT received a thing from them and there customer service number no longer exists. I have since turned this over to the Attorney General. I was laid off, and because of them taking that money ($199.95) I have incurred approximately $1100.00 of bank fees from my account being overdrawn. I also have 2 children whom have suffered through this as we attempt to pay off these late fees and be farther in the hole. THANKS ALOT ECS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. I would be happy to just get our 199.95 back and for this place to be shut down . It is fraud to take from an account if one cancels. I also found out that I could have lost another 100 because they do that for the second card. Luckilly I was able to get a stop payment on that. Judith Hibbing, Minnesota
