I came so close to falling for this apparent scam! After reading the post card, I got that gut feeling that something didn't seem right. I checked the internet and found several reports on this company - none of them good. It's the same old story, the ink had not dried on our bankruptcy petition and out of the woodwork they came. A credit line of $4,000, just call and activate it. There was no indication that it was a bank card.

After reading hundreds of reports about credit card scams, there seemed to be a common thread: people with bad or no credit. The reactions were also similar: file a class action suit - which is a good segway into arbitration. Consumers should educate themselves about arbitration and how it essentially destroys not only class suits but in some cases, the very right to sue. Don't believe it? Educate yourself. Arbitration is the kiss of death for consumers.
