Complaint Review: E J MOVING

 Since May of 2013 I was had been talking to a woman name Michelle that seemed very nice and helpful i kept in touch with her because i had to keep changing my moving date. She was very nice about it and changed it everytime we spoke she also told that it would cost me 400 dollars for 3 men and that it should only take 4 hours and that the men would take apart in the old place and put back together in the new place. On September 4,2013. 3 moving men were to be at my house between 9 am and 10am the movers didnt show up till 4pm when they got there only one man took everything apart with no help the other man put the stuff in the truck and the 3rd man stood inside the truck. As i put things in boxs i labeled my boxs with what was in it for example if it had electronics thats what i wrote on the outside of the box.When everything was packed we left when we got to the new apartment thats when i was told for the very first time that i had to have the money in cash. Then i became upset because i was never told that over the phone and now a days no one really carries cash everything is cards so thats when i had to leave and run to find a bank thats was open at 8pm to see if an ATM would let me withdawaL $750 at one time because thats what i was told that i had to pay. I get back and pay them and that is when they started taking things for the truck and putting them in my apartment.

 After they bring in the boxs they tell me that they cant put together my bed and my kids bed because they ran out of time and if they had to stay longer i had to pay more money. They ended up leaving the nexts day as me and my husband are unpacking we notice that one of my boxs of electronic is miss and my son bookbag with his xbox in it and another boxs with my daughter stuff in it and some important documents. So right away i called Michelle and told her my problem and she said she would talk to some woman that will investergate the problem and get back to me in a week. The week went by and no one ever called me i called michelle back and then i spoke to another woman and she also told me she was looking into my problem and that she will call me back when she finds out something. I then waited another week then i called the cops and try to make a police report but couldnt and i was never called back.
