I received a phone call offering a credit card with 3% fixed interest for someone in my situation. Bankruptcy. All I had to do was pay a $9.00 fee and $150.00.

I was to get a credit voucher for $150.00 to be applied to the first payment on the credit card, so $9.00 would be the only true fee for the card.

Along with the credit card were free 30 day trials for Continental Auto Rescue and a phone card called 1000 Minute Mega Saver.

Fortunately, I cancelled both of these the day I received them, so I was never billed for their services.

There was no problem getting the auto service and telephone card info to me, but they never got the credit card and $150.00 voucher to me.

I called at least 15 times over a period of 6 or 7 months. It was always the same thing. "The cards in the mail" or "We will put a trace on it and resend it on or after such and such date".

Needless to say the Card was never received and my $159.00 is history.

What's sad about this is my family has already been victim to 9/11/01, which resulted in Bankruptcy. Now I find there are people like this out there stealing from people that are already hurting.
