Complaint Review: E. Thomas Maxwell Jr

I hired E. Thomas Maxwell Jr years ago to represent me in MD. Paid him a ton of money (in advance) . Only met with him for 20 minutes of which 15 was he showing me all his newspaper articles on his wall about how great he is. In pre trial hearings, he lied to the judge about he advising me of specific info. I know, I was in the court room unbeknown to him.  Decided to take a plea for personal reasons but he DID NOT advise me of the consequences and turned against me with the Prosecutor just before the plea was accepted by the judge. Since he had all my money up front, there was no options as to replacing him as my attorney. I am sure that is his M O. Years later when I needed his help because of an UnconstitutionalMD Law, he barely could remember me but said he would "Look Into It and get back to me".  That was months ago. No surprise. I would look elsewhere if you need an Attorney in MD.
