Complaint Review: E2 Services

E2 Services Eddie Dillard I left my Amphicar with eddie Dillard on Sunday, March 18, 2017 to repair brakes. We arranged that it would be finished by the beginning of May. Mr. Dillard convinced me that I should put in dual brakes, rather than a single braking system which I agreed to do. He found many other issues wrong with my Amphicar. I drove from New Jersey to Florida to pick up my Amphicar on Sunday, May 7. The Amphicar was not ready to bring back to NJ. On Thursday, May 11 at 7:15 pm he brought the Amphicar without an itemized receipt of work completed. Mr Dillard informed me he would e mail me the itemized receipt the next day. Almost a month later I still have no receipt. My Amphicar was NOT returned in the condition that it was left with him.  Winter Park Florida

My Amphicar was left with Mr. Eddie Dillard on Sunday, March 19, 2017, to fix brakes. We arranged that I would pick it up the beginning of May. Mr. Dillard claimed he found many other issues with my Amphicar and convinced me to fix them. After paying Mr. Dillard $6750 I still have no idea of what work was done for this incredible amount of money! What I know for sure is that I was supposed to get a dual braking system which I do not have. When I arrived in Florida on May 8 my Amphicar was not finished. It was finally brought to me on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 7:15 pm. Mr. Dillard told me he forgot the itemized receipt & would email it to me the following day. To date (6/7/17) I still don't have a receipt and have no idea of all the work that was done, prices for parts, or labor. I do not know what work was done, I did not get the old parts back that were removed, and my Amphicar was not in the same condition that it was in when it was given to Mr. Dillard. When my Amphicar was left with Mr. Dillard it had a rubber floor mat which was removed, a depth finder and an electric fuel pump. The fuel pump was disconnected and the depth finder was thrown in the back & not connected. I was not informed that my floormat would have to be removed. To replace the floor mat it will cost me $250 and I will have to pay someone to take the seat out and put the new floor mat in. I feel that I should be reimbursed for the rubber floor mat with installation, get my old parts back that were removed, be reimbursed for the dual braking system that I did not receive, & be given a complete, itemized accounting of what was done to my car including prices for parts, what parts were used, & the price for labor.
