Even better, I submitted a machine (500ix) for a waranty replacement of a hard disk in Dec 2000, after the 7-10 working days I checked where it was, they said oops its gone over our perfrmance targets. They then said they would expidite it. 10 working days passed and it still did not appear. I called back and they said, oh yes we haev expidied it but we do not know when and we cannot do anything about chekcing because we are not allowed too!!!!!

OK so patience happened and after 2 months a new machien arrived at my house. BUT !!!! it had less memory they had short changed me 32 Mb. I called them and after 45 minutes on hold they said oooops well you will have to fill in a new RMA and return the machine back to us. We will then ship a new machine (of questionable spec) out on some uncertain date.

After calming down (which took a while) I asked about a new memory chip or a pre-ship. Told No.
I asked about compensation for 2+ months. No. I asked for the director of support "Cannot give out names". Nor the VP of support or relations.

Anyway now I am faced with either (a) waiting again or (b) buying my own memory.

NEVER have I had to deal with such an unprofessional rip off comapny as thos. I will never again buy their tools. I advise you to do the same!!!!
