Eagle Carports Unbelievably incompetant customer service and scheduling Cana, Virginia

At an equipment rental business, I contracted to buy a bolt down carport cover that was advertised starting at $595.  The parent company, Eagle Carports,  called to schedule a date and time, and I agreed.  The time came and went with a no show and no call installer, and I called customer service.  

Customer service informed me I was not on the installation schedule, and that I should have gotten the name of the installer, though they would not give me a name or phone number for him. I complained to the dealer, who told me it was not the first time he had had problems with this company, and he, too, was tired of the same kind of service. 

The next day,  I called Elephant Carports, a competitor, but quickly saw they operated the same way, using script oriented people who cannot handle anything outside their narrow printed directions, and who are skilled run-around-artists.  I canceled the contract and got back my deposit.
