I stopped in this local motorcycle shop to get a quote on a rear tire and chain replacement for my motorcycle. I was well greeted upon entering and asked what brought me in by a young man working the floor. I proceeded to tell him what I came for and when the make of my motorcycle was asked and I replyed a Triumph the older man behind the coumter, owner maybe? replyed, "We don't work on Triumphs" I said I'm looking for a tire and chain, not rocket science for either to be installed and no different than any other motorcycle. He just kept replying "We don't work on Triumphs" I just left not believing in what went down. They are a dealer for cheap Chinese Hyosung motorcycles but won't change a tire and chain on one of the oldest manufactured brand of motorcycles, hmmm So much for small town pride and trying to support your local businesses, I won't go back and advise any of my riding friends to not even stop in

I was not looking for tea and crumpets AH, a simple tire and chain which I got a good deal on at Cycle Gear, I also replaced my own chain. As stated I was trying to support local business, no special tools were required for the work to be done as they had stated for their reason why they couldn't do the work, just AH like you, I still tell all the riders I see to not even give them a look

I have been a customer of this shop for over 9 years.  The work is excellent.  If other work is needed they call and explain why it is needed.  The Triumph owner that wanted a chain and tire should of went to their dealership in Ft. Worth.  He was told he could not help you.  That is an accurate answer.  Go elsewhere.  He was doing you a favor.  Sorry you did not get your way.  They do not serve tea and crumpets.  They have good service.  They are a good bike shop.
