Complaint Review: Eagle Mountain Family Eye Care

My wife and two stepsons have a need for eyeglasses. Eagle Mountain Family Eye Care was one of the businesses that I contacted to make an appointment for them in the past, however, I cancelled the first initial appointment, as they were not able to see all three of them in the same day. Instead I went to Heritage Family EyeCare which is a little bit further out, great business, and they got the job done all in the same day for all three of them. Fast forward to 1 year later, Eagle Mountain Family Eye Care calls me out of the blue, stating that they are due for their annual eye exam, I initially was thinking this was the optician that I took them to the first time around (since their names are very similar).

My question is, how can they be due for their annual eye exam at Eagle Mountain Family Eye Care if I never took them there? This may have been my mistake initially since I went ahead and booked with them, however, they should have never called me out of the blue like that either, especially if I never took them there? Now I'm being billed a no-show fee of $55 for each of them because I went to Heritage Family EyeCare on the day of their appointment thinking that was where I was supposed to go.
