Do not take your car to this Eagle Transmission location in Addison. JD Shelton and his wife Robin told me how they just bought the business and were so excited and they would take care of me.  They did exactly the opposite.  I had to take my car back a total of 4 times to have them fix my transmission which they charged me $1787 to rebuild. They even took my car to Mazda to have the Dealer run a diagnostic and surprise surprise....same error code they had before they "fixed" it.  After a very long painful, stressful three weeks I have given up on pursuing them helping me or refunded my money.  I will have to take legal action.  Oh and guess what....when I took my car to have it checked for any leaks......the only leak is the transmission fluid!  UNBELIEVABLE!!!  i call Robin and tell her and she immediately says....if anyone messes with the Transmission it voids the warranty.  DUH!  I know that!  They keep blaming it on an electrical issue but Victor @ Mazda and also a gentlemen who works on electrical wiring in cars says that one has nothing to do with the other. Why would they do this?  Or maybe it's their mechanics who look so happy to work there.  Either way they are responsible!

Kelly...you were NEVER there.  Why would you defend a situation you know nothing about? There was never any woman in that shop except Robin and myself on the multiple occasions I was there.  The bottom line is they did not fix my car right.  It is still leaking transmission fluid.  I don't have to defend anything I say because they know what happened.  They knew I would complain and they knew my car was not fixed.

It doesn't matter at this point.  I was upset at 1st because I trusted them and they completely screwed me and I couldn't do anything about it.  I never met Robin or JD before that day. The name on the door says EAGLE TRANSMISSION....so I thought they specialized in fixing transmissions.  I should have walked away immediately when they told me they just bought that business.  I have no reason to spend any more energy on this matter.  My car was not fixed and they know it.

Never had a problem

I have always brought my vehicles to JD and Robin and have always recommend my friends take their vehicles to them as well. I have never had any kind of problem with their service or work. Just because you have a problem doesn't mean you need to discredit their business this way. They did the work, you paid, it turned out to be something else, therefore, no money should have been given back to you. You need to realize, I was there the day you came in. They were nothing but nice and understanding to you and did what was in their power to do to help you. I have never had a company offer to pay for a rental for me when they did work on my car. If a company tries to help you, you don't throw it in their face! Most companies don't do that. I will continue to take my vehicles to them as I only want to do business with honest, caring individuals as JD and Robin! I hope you find it in your heart to forgive them for trying to help you and you should pay attention to who else is in the room before you share your lies.

This customer was given the utmost respect and patience. We put her in a new rental car, and offered to do so again when she had a problem the second week. She refused and demanded a refund. We sure tried not to upset her. We did take her car to Mazda. They basically scanned it and said it had a transmission problem, they do not rebuild transmissions, they only replace them. I have been with Eagle for Many years and try very hard to please my Customers.
